As a strong, independent voice on the Council I have led our community to:
- Maintain a BALANCED BUDGET with a healthy $10 million reserve
- Increased street PAVEMENT QUALITY by 50%
- Renovate all City PARKS
- Increase OPEN SPACE by over 50%
- Update our water system for CLEANER WATER and delivery during power shutoffs
- Enhance a progressive POLICE DEPARTMENT
- Support the elimination of systemic racism for a more inclusive and equitable city government
- Cultivate businesses, cultural and social experiences making Martinez a destination
- Reduce pension obligations
- Cleaner air and climate protections by representing Martinez on the Air District.
As your Mayor I will:
- Continue Martinez remaining among the top 50 Safest California Cities
- Continue making EVERY citizen feel welcomed, safe, and valued
- Ensure access to our new 297 acre park, which I championed
- Continue fiscal responsibility, improving streets, parks & efficient delivery of City services, including reducing our looming pension obligations by 5%.
- Clean up the appearance of our town
- Continue developing solutions for all businesses to prosper
- Continue improving Downtown, Marina, & Cultural venues
- Support sensible solutions to community, racial, and social justice issues
- Continue the great progress we have made
